Job Description

Job Title: Change Manager

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 + months

Rate : $55/hr W2

Position Overview:

The Change Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of IT change initiatives to ensure the smooth implementation of changes to systems, processes, and technologies, with minimal disruption to business operations. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end change process, from planning to execution, while collaborating with IT teams, business units, and leadership. You will lead efforts to drive higher employee adoption, reduce resistance, and ensure successful outcomes for organizational change projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of IT change initiatives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and refine change management strategies, processes, and methodologies to ensure the successful execution of changes.
  • Apply structured change management methodologies (e.g., ITIL, Prosci) to create strategies supporting change adoption.
  • Create actionable deliverables for core change management plans
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and IT teams to define change requirements and communicate impacts and timelines.
  • Prepare and deliver clear communications to all stakeholders regarding upcoming changes, including expected impacts and necessary action steps.
  • Develop training materials and support the design and delivery of training programs to ensure successful adoption.
  • Identify potential risks and impacts associated with proposed changes, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruption.
  • Manage anticipated and persistent resistance, applying strategies to reduce and manage resistance throughout the change process.
  • Conduct impact analyses and assess organizational readiness for change, ensuring effective preparation and adoption.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of changes after implementation, addressing any issues or incidents promptly.
  • Track and measure the success of change initiatives, defining and monitoring success metrics.
  • Analyze feedback from stakeholders and teams to drive continuous improvements in the change management process.

Skills and QualificationsExperience & Knowledge:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT change management, project management, or IT operations roles.
  • Experience with ISO 55001 Asset Management
  • Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure, and software development processes, with the ability to understand both technical and business impacts of changes.
  • Strong knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., ITIL, Prosci), with hands-on experience leading change initiatives in complex IT environments.
  • Experience managing IT projects, including planning, execution, risk management, and timely delivery. Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Master's degree or advanced certifications in change management or project management is a plus
